Launch of Guardian Sustainable Business Awards 2013

In Spring 2013, David North, Executive Director (designate) will be acting as a member of the judging panel for the Guardian Sustainable Business Awards 2013. The panel will be looking for innovation and impact in corporate sustainability across 13 categories.
The Guardian Sustainable Business Awards showcase the best in corporate sustainability and recognise those who take sustainability to the next level. They reward the scale of impact large businesses can achieve should they reach their sustainability goals as well as recognising companies or focused internal initiatives that lead the way on innovation, demonstrating that whatever their size, business really can be done differently.
The awards are accredited by the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) as leading environmental awards scheme.
The judges will be looking for schemes which have made a real impact in sustainability, with an emphasis on ideas that are replicable. Previous award winners include Puma, M&S, SAB Miller and Sainsbury’s.
