The University of Manchester’s Sustainable Consumption Institute (SCI) is an inter-disciplinary research institute focussing on innovative ways to harness the power of consumers to generate more environmentally sustainable lifestyles.
We seek a number of appointments at Senior Research Fellow, Research Fellow and Post-doctoral Research Fellow levels to develop our research capacity in two new areas:
Renewable energyWater resources and strengthen it in our current themes:
- Sustainable consumer behaviour
- Stimulating sustainable eco-innovationClimate change, mitigation, and adaptation
We seek Senior Research Fellow / Research Fellow applicants demonstrating research leadership in multi-disciplinary teams, leading to significant funding, supervision of PhDs, outstanding publications and dissemination of research findings to key stakeholders. Post-doctoral Research Fellow applicants should have a developing portfolio of multi-disciplinary research published in highly rated journals.
