Patricia Thornley - SCI Senior Research Fellow

Patricia Thornley has 18 years experience in land-based renewables and sustainability assessment of agricultural and forest systems for energy.  In an SCI flagship project, Climate change mitigation and adaptation in the UK food system, she has applied this agricultural knowledge and whole systems perspective to food production.  The interfaces between climate, energy and agriculture are key to addressing the sustainability of future consumer demand and Patricia's research interests focus particularly on the nexus of sustainable land-use for agriculture, energy and climate protection.
